# Changelog

## 0.1.1

- Fix Excel workbook repair warnings caused by invalid worksheet and font XML ordering.
- Preserve hierarchy, field types, formatting and print settings.
- Improve accessible names for the formatting switches.

## 0.1.0

Initial Treefold release package.

### What it does

Export a flat or tree Azure Boards query to a styled `.xlsx` workbook with
the hierarchy intact — as indentation (with a working Excel outline) or as a
sortable level column, your choice. Runs entirely in your browser with your
own sign-in; nothing is sent to Bacumi.

### Export setup and loading

- Wider export window, with columns beside options on larger screens.
- Visible preparation steps and the actual query item count while metadata loads.
- Application code loads after the initial window is shown; planning requests and
saved preferences load concurrently. Work item details load only on export.

### Highlights

- **Parent ID and Work Item Type columns** on every export, alongside ID.
- **A styled workbook**: a branded header, a light fill on the top two tree
levels, and each ID linking back to the work item in the brand colour.
- **Excel outline** on the hierarchy, so a deep tree can be collapsed and
expanded like any other Excel outline.
- **A wrap-text option**, saved with your other preferences.
- **A complete "Export info" sheet**: the query and its folder, the project,
when it ran (your local time and time zone), the hierarchy shape, item
counts (in the query, exported, and skipped — with the actual skipped
IDs), the format settings used, and the version that wrote it.
- **Clear error screens**: every failure shows a title, a plain-language
explanation, and — where retrying could help — a working Retry button.
- Near-limit warning as a query approaches the 20,000-item export cap; a
query with exactly 20,000 items exports correctly.
- Wrapped, top-aligned text for multi-line cells; explicit date/time
formatting; a rich-text link's target is kept alongside its label.
- Stale saved columns (a field since removed from the project) are shown as
  dropped, not silently changed.
- Accessible: keyboard-only column reordering, progress announcements to
screen readers, and visible focus in Windows high-contrast mode.
- Validate compatibility with your Azure DevOps Server installation before rollout.
